Does a Westfield Gift Card make a great gift?

Yes! Westfield Gift Cards are a gift of indulgence. They open doors to thousands of shopping experiences in Westfield shopping centres all around Australia. They're ideal for any occasion from birthdays and anniversaries, to Christmas, Mother's Day, Valentine's Day... even weddings and graduations!

Why can't I use my Westfield Gift Card at some Westfield stores?

The Westfield Gift Card program is open to all retailers within Westfield Shopping Centres in Australia.  However, retailers at Westfield Shopping Centres are under no obligation to participate in the Westfield Gift Card program.  Participation is purely voluntary.  Participating retailers may exit the Westfield Gift Card program at any time at their sole discretion.

Does a Westfield Gift Card expire?

A Westfield Gift Card expires 12 months from the date of activation.

Where can I buy a Westfield Gift Card?

Westfield Gift Cards are available for purchase online or at the Concierge Desk of any Westfield Shopping Centre in Australia.

For what amounts can I purchase a Westfield Gift Card?

Westfield Gift Cards can be loaded with values from $10 to $995.

How can I pay for a Westfield Gift Card?

Online payment can be made by American Express, Visa or Mastercard.  When purchasing a Westfield Gift Card from a Concierge Desk, payment may be made by American Express*, Visa, Mastercard, EFTPOS or cash.  Corporate customers should review corporate payment options.

Can I add more money onto a Westfield Gift Card?

No.  The Westfield Gift Card can only be loaded with value once, at the time of purchase.

Can I get my money refunded?

Westfield Gift Cards are not refundable.  You should treat your Westfield Gift Card as if it was cash.

How do I activate my card?

Your card will be activated automatically when it is issued by Westfield.  It is ready to use as soon as you receive it.

Can I buy something that costs more or less than the value on my Westfield Gift Card?

Your Westfield Gift Card can be used repeatedly until the value of the card has been used (or the card has expired).  For purchases greater than the remaining card balance, participating retailers may accept supplemental forms of payment, but this is subject to the policies of the individual retailer.  Please consult the participating retailer for more information.

Can I use more than one Westfield Gift Card in a purchase?

Some retailers do allow using more than one payment type to pay for an item

Can I exchange my Westfield Gift Card for cash?

No. The Gift Card cannot be exchanged for cash.

Can I withdraw money from my Westfield Gift Card?

No.  The Gift Card can be used for making purchases only.

Can I redeem Westfield Gift Cards online?

Yes, Westfield Gift Cards can be redeemed on westfield.com.au.  They can also be redeemed in a Westfield Shopping Centre.

How do I know how much money is left on my Westfield Gift Card?

The quickest and easiest way is to check your balance online.  You can also call the Gift Card Help Line on 1300 790 292, or visit the Concierge Desk at any Westfield Shopping Centre.

Where can I find the PIN, card number and reference number?

Your PIN number is shown on the back of your card.  Your PIN number is the 4-digit number on the right hand side.  Your card number and reference number are shown on the back of your card.  Your gift card number is the 18-digit number and your reference number is the 4-digit number in the middle.

What do I do if I believe there is mistake with my Westfield Gift Card balance?

Simply call the Gift Card Help Line on 1300 790 292 or visit the Concierge Desk at your nearest Westfield Shopping Centre for assistance.

Is my information safe when I use the online service to check my Westfield Gift Card details?

Can I check my Westfield Gift Card transaction history?

Yes. When you check your balance online you will also receive a list of your transactions.

Can I check my Westfield Gift Card balance in-store?

You cannot check your balance at individual retailers.  However, balance enquiries can be made online and at all Westfield Concierge Desks.

What do I do if my Westfield Gift Card is lost, stolen or damaged?

Lost or stolen Gift Cards will be replaced if a customer can provide an original receipt and card reference number (conditions apply).  Damaged Gift Cards will be replaced upon presentation of the damaged card.  Please call the Gift Card Help Line on 1300 790 292 or visit the Concierge Desk at your nearest Westfield Shopping Centre for assistance.

When will my self-activating gift card be activated?

The gift card will be activated by 2 business days of successful completion of the self-activation process at http://westfieldgiftcards.com.au/grabngo

How will I know when my card is activated?

You can check the activation of your gift card at http://westfieldgiftcards.com.auor by calling 1300 790 292 & following the prompts.

How do I get a copy of the invoice for my activation payment?

An invoice will be sent to the email address provided after successful confirmation of the activation.

I have entered an incorrect email address in the activation process, what do I do?

Please email the Gift Card Office giftcards@au.westfield.com with the gift card number & reference number.

I have lost my invoice, how do I get a copy?

Please email the Gift Card Office giftcards@au.westfield.com with the gift card number & reference number. We may be able to assist by issuing a copy.

I have entered the wrong $ amount, what can I do?

Unfortunately once the gift card activation has been set in process we are not able to amend $ amounts placed on a gift card.

What is the maximum amount of cards that can be activated at one time?

You can activate up to 5 gift cards in any one transaction.

What information do I need to provide to activate my gift card?

You will need to provide the gift card number, the card reference number (these can be found on the reverse of the gift card) your payment details, billing address, contact phone number & email address.

Where can I find my gift card number?

The reference number can be found on reverse of your gift card. It is an 18 digit number.

Where can I find my gift card reference number?

The reference number can be found on the reverse of your gift card. It is a 4 digit number.

How can I obtain a self-activated Westfield Gift Card?

Self activated gift cards are only avialable during the christmas period.

Which Westfield gift cards can be activated online?

You can activate the self-activating gift card & the Westfield Red gift card online.


Unfortunately XS by Westfield or a Westfield gift card from Australia Post online cannot be activated via this channel.

How do I find out when my self-activated gift card is due to expire?

No, the gift card is set up to accept credit once only when it is first activated.

Can I activate my gift card using my EFTPOS card?

The gift card can only be activated online using a Visa, Mastercard or Amex credit card.

What value can I place on my self-activating gift card?

You can place any amount from $10 to $995 on your gift card.

The gift card can be used within any Westfield Shopping Centre Australia wide, and at www.westfield.com.au
