Westfield Gift Cards purchased at a Concierge Desk in Westfield shopping centres in Australia are automatically activated at the time of issue and will usually be ready for use as soon as you receive it. However, occasionally during peak periods, Gift Cards may take up to 48 hours to activate from the time of purchase.
If you have received a Westfield Gift Card that has been purchased from our third party retailers, please allow 48 hours for activation.
To ensure the secure delivery of Westfield Gift Cards purchased online, a security confirmation is required by to you before using it.
This can be done on our website here and entering the 5-digit security code sent to you either via email or text message and the 4-digit reference number located on the back of your card.

If you’ve received more than one card in the order, enter the 4-digit reference number on any of the Gift Cards you’ve received for that order. There is a unique security code for each order.
If you have received the error after trying to enter the security code and reference number three times, our friendly concierge staff can also help you with the security confirmation before you use your Gift Card. Head to a concierge desk at any Westfield Centre with:
- Your Westfield Gift Card
- Photo ID (Drivers Licence, Proof of Age Card, Passport) with Full Name and Address (matching the address where the card was received)
- Security code email or text message
- Order confirmation email, if available

Westfield Gift Cards are redeemable at participating retailers in Australia with eftpos facilities (some retailers may not accept Westfield Gift Cards).
Participating retailers include Myer, Coles, Woolworths Group, David Jones, Target, Kmart, JB Hi Fi and Rebel Sport. In addition, choose from our specialty retailers across fashion, homewares, lifestyle, beauty, food, restaurants and electronics.
Gift Card acceptance is at the retailer’s discretion and some retailers may choose not to accept the Westfield Gift Card, including cinemas.
The Westfield XS Gift Card offers more choice and flexibility.
In addition to being accepted in participating retailers in our centres Australia wide, the Westfield XS Gift Card can be used anywhere EFTPOS is accepted outside of Westfield Centres (at retailer’s discretion).

No, at this stage Gift Cards cannot be redeemed on westfield.com.au or via online retailer websites.
While we encourage all retailers within our shopping centres to accept Westfield Gift Cards they are under no obligation to participate in the Gift Card Program.
Participation is voluntary and participating retailers may exit the Westfield Gift Card program at any time at their sole discretion.
The Service fee allows us to manage the retail partners who choose to participate in Westfield’s Gift Card program, as well as provide lost and damaged card replacement services. It also covers the cost of printing and producing Westfield Gift Cards.
This means Westfield Gift Card customers can shop with confidence while being able to enjoy using their gift cards at a wide range of retailers.
The 4 digit PIN number is provided on the back of your card under the scratch panel. You’ll need this when you make purchases.
The card number and reference number are also shown on the back of your card.
The card number is the 18-digit number starting with 5021190, and your reference number is the 4 digit number displayed underneath your card number.
You’ll need your card number and reference number to check your Gift Cards balance. The quickest way to check your Gift Card balance is Online where you’ll also receive a detailed transaction history of all your purchases. You can also check your balance by calling our Gift Card team on 1300 790 292 or at the Concierge Desk in any Westfield Shopping Centre in Australia.
Unfortunately retailers can’t provide Gift Card balances.
If you’re in a store and need to check your Gift Card balance, simply head to Westfield.giftcards.com.au on your mobile where you’ll receive your balance and a detailed transaction history of all your purchases.

Westfield Gift Cards and Westfield XS Gift Cards are not refundable, exchangeable for cash or reloadable. Our Gift Cards are intended to be redeemed for products or experiences within participating retailers. Please refer to our Terms and Conditions for more details.
Lost or stolen Gift Cards will be replaced (up to the remaining value on the card at the time its reported to us) if a customer can provide an original receipt and card reference number. Damaged Gift Cards will be replaced upon presentation of the damaged card. Please email the Gift Cards Support team on giftcards@scentregroup.com or visit the Concierge Desk in any Westfield Shopping Centre in Australia for assistance.
Your Gift Card can be used in multiple retailers until the value of the card has been used (or the card has expired). For purchases greater than the remaining card balance, participating retailers may accept additional forms of payment, but this is subject to the policies of the individual retailer. Please check with the participating retailer for more information.
Some retailers do allow using more than one payment type to pay for an item. Please check with the retailer at point of purchase, as acceptance is subject to the policies of the individual retailer.
Money cannot be refunded back onto Westfield Gift Cards or Westfield XS Gift Cards. If you need to return an item purchased using a Gift Card, the refund should be resolved directly with the retailer in question, as per the retailer’s Refund Policy.
The Westfield Gift Card and Westfield XS Gift Card expires 3 years from the date of issue. The date of issue appears at the top right hand corner, of the reverse of the Gift Card. Please refer to our Gift Card Product Terms and Conditions for more details.
Westfield Gift Cards are valid for 3 years from the date of issue as indicated on the back of the Gift Card (regardless of when a Security Confirmation takes place for Westfield Gift Cards purchased online). See our Gift Card Online Purchase Terms and Conditions for more information.

Payment options for online Westfield Gift Card orders include Mastercard, Visa and American Express. When purchasing a Westfield Gift Card from a Concierge Desk, payment may be made by American Express, Visa, Mastercard, EFTPOS or cash.
Gift Cards can either be sent to you or your recipient. You can only select one delivery address per online order. Please note we can only deliver to Australian addresses (excluding PO boxes). We cannot deliver on weekends or public holidays.
There are two delivery options available:
- Standard Express Delivery: 2 to 3 business days. Signature not required.
- Courier (Capital cities only): Orders placed before 10am weekdays will be dispatched the same day, for delivery the following day.

Westfield strives for the best possible delivery service to our customers. We have selected excellent delivery partners, however occasions may arise where, despite their best efforts, Gift Cards are delayed in the delivery process.
